It’s a sad fact that we are living in such a broken world with such a great God, who created it. We were created by Him, He created the world too, for us, only for us to mess it up, badly. This is the story of tragedy of a great God created great creations who destroyed themselves and everything in it, littering anything that can be identified as “creation of a great God”.
But the tragedy continues to become the irony of where the God, who created and greatly disappointed by it, came down from the skies, Himself, to save the fallen creation, who greatly messed up His great creation. He came down, still, and cracked open the dividing wall erected by the creations, under the influence of the enemy, and reached out to grab them.
In the process, He got Himself killed. That’s tragically sad. Even more so when you know He was killed by His own creations, whom He came down from heaven for and tore open the dividing wall erected by the creations. That’s us by the way.
But it turned out, it was a grand scenario of salvation. He sacrificed Himself to save the fallen creations, who didn’t know better when the scenario played out. He sacrificed Himself, because there was no other way to save. It was the last resort, the last card, the last way out. Not for Him, ironically, for He is safe and sound up there, but for His fallen creations, who messed up everything including themselves badly.
So come again. Why would anyone save a broken, fallen creation who not only malfunctioned, but destroyed the entire house and everything around it ? And they replicate themselves too! Creating an even bigger mess elsewhere and everywhere. Why would anyone save such creation, might as well kill the creation and start over ? Why save ?
Because the creation had the appearance of the creator, that’s why. It became sentimentil. It became personal. Because the creation was made in the image of the creator Himself. There’s only one you right ? There’s only one creator, and he made more of himself, look-a-likes that is, but still everytime He sees them He thought of Himself. They were His Children, so to speak, but rightfully in His heart.
It’s hard to understand because we cannot create things like this. We can actually. Our children. The creator enabled us to naturally replicate ourselves through our children, so that we might feel a glimpse of His feeling, when seeing someone in the mirror look so much like you, a ‘creation’, a ‘look-a-like’, of my own image. He sort of saying, “now do you know how I feel about you ?”
The days are counting and He is waiting for our day to come, when we finally understand what it meant to have a broken creation that hurts you but you love them too much to let go. The days are counting, when will might that day come. People are waiting for us, those in heaven who have come before us, they’re waiting for you to have your day come just as they did. We’re still typing blogs, working, laundering, cooking, thinking of tomorrow, next week, next month, next holiday, next trip to the beach. But the reality is not that, the reality is our days are counted, they are numbered and they will run out anytime soon and your laundry will be left unattended, your plane ticket be unused, your cooking toast, the blog empty and the life stops.
The creation has limited life time. Surprise surprise. He is racing with time to save us, before our battery runs out. Isn’t it us who’s suppose to race with time, since our battery is limited and His isn’t ? Just irony right. It might be next week or the next hour. He has already saved us. Now we need to save ourselves, by holding onto Him.
The creation who messed up the great creation of the great creator’s works is allowed to return home. Yes, allowed to return home, safely, be fixed with no penalties. Now how could you skip such an invitation ? To return to what we’re supposed to be, functioning properly and not being a ‘mess’ anymore ? Unless you’re happy being messy and staying in this mess.
It’s better than the laundry, the blog, the work, the cooking and the beach.
The laundry, the blog, the work, the cooking and the beach are boring, actually.
Who cares about the laundry, the blog, the work, the cooking and the beach.
